PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: October 2026
1. Overview
Dirt Sites (“we,” “us”) provides websites and related services for earthwork, excavation, land clearing, and site-work companies. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit dirtsites.com, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
2. Information We Collect
When you visit our website, we may collect limited technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate region, pages viewed, and how you reached our site (for example, the referring link or campaign). If you contact us by phone or text, that conversation is handled outside this website. We do not collect your phone number, email address, or message content through website analytics or advertising tools.
3. Analytics
We use a first-party analytics tool to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are visited and how long visitors stay. This helps us improve the website and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. This analytics tool does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
4. Advertising Tracking (Meta Pixel)
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how visitors interact with our advertising and website. This helps us show more relevant ads and understand campaign performance.
The advertising pixel operates by default. You can opt out at any time using the “Privacy” button in the corner of our website. Once you decline, advertising tracking stops and is not loaded on subsequent visits until you choose to allow it again. The pixel never receives your phone number, email address, message content, or any website URL you submit to our scanner.
5. Your Choices
You can accept or decline advertising tracking at any time using the “Privacy” button in the corner of our website. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed later. We also honor browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track, where supported by your browser.
6. Website Scanner
Our free website scanner analyzes a website address you provide to produce a technical performance report. The address you scan is used to run that scan and is not shared with advertising partners or sent to Meta as part of advertising tracking.
7. Contact Form
When you submit our contact form, you provide your name and phone number, and you may optionally provide your business name, website address, and a message about what you need. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry about our services.
Your submission is stored securely on our server as a record of your inquiry and is delivered to our team through our internal notification system so we can respond. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising. We retain contact-form submissions for a limited period of approximately 90 days, after which they are removed, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to complete an active business relationship.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this policy, call or text us at (828) 375-1277.
