About Red Hollow
Owner-operated since 2016. The person who reviews your photos, walks your property, and runs the machine is the same person accountable for the result.
Owner-operated since 2016
Caleb started Red Hollow with one used track loader after years around utility and grading equipment. The business grew by becoming more capable—not by putting distance between the customer and the person responsible for the work.
Today he still reviews customer photos, walks most larger estimates, plans machine access, operates the forestry equipment, and oversees the final result. That means clear answers up front and no surprises at the end.
How we work
The goal is useful ground—not unnecessary destruction. Before work begins, we identify the mature trees, privacy, creek edges, and wildlife cover worth keeping.
“Clear enough to make the property useful. Do not destroy what makes the property good.”
Our equipment
Red Hollow's fleet is focused on forestry and land management, with support equipment to keep a project moving when access, debris, roots, or drainage need attention.
Forestry CTL
High-horsepower forestry configuration with an FAE mulching head for thick understory, saplings, and difficult growth.
Support Loader
Grapple, heavy brush cutter, root rake, and bucket support for cleanup, debris handling, and clearing.
Compact Excavator
Handles limited stump work, culverts, trail crossings, drainage, roots, and access problems encountered during clearing.
Why owner-operated matters
The person who quotes the job is the person who runs the machine and walks the final result with you.
Years working Central Georgia ground means we understand the terrain, the growth, and how access really works.
No sales layer, no guesswork. You get a clear read on what should stay, what should go, and why.
About & estimates
Who does the work, how estimates go, and what to expect before anything moves.
Start the conversationCaleb Mercer owns and operates Red Hollow. He reviews customer photos, walks most larger estimates, plans machine access, and oversees the finished result—so the person you talk to is the person responsible for the work.
Start with where the property is, how much ground needs work, and what you want to do with it when it is finished. Photos and a rough acreage shape the first conversation, and larger jobs usually include a property walk.
This is a concept profile, so specific coverage details are placeholders. For a real estimate, licensing, insurance, and references should be confirmed before work begins.
Most projects are within roughly 50 miles of Forsyth. Larger multi-day acreage projects may justify travel farther into Central Georgia.
Let's take a look
Send a few photos and a rough idea of the acreage. Caleb will help you sort out what should stay, what should go, and how to get there.
