What is forestry mulching?
A forestry mulcher grinds standing brush, saplings, and small trees into mulch in a single pass. Root systems stay in place and the processed material is spread back over the ground, which helps control erosion and slow regrowth.
How is selective clearing different from complete clearing?
Complete clearing removes everything on a site. Selective clearing removes only what is in the way—marking mature trees, buffers, and cover to keep before any machine moves—so the finished ground stays useful and keeps its character.
What is underbrushing?
Underbrushing removes the low, dense growth beneath a mature canopy—privet, briars, and volunteer saplings—without disturbing the larger trees. It opens sightlines and walking space while leaving the forest floor and timber intact.
Can you clear fence lines and trails without clearing everything?
Yes. Fence-line clearing and trail creation are scoped to a working width, not the whole parcel. The surrounding woods, cover, and mature trees stay in place.
Do you remove stumps?
Forestry mulching does not automatically remove stumps. Stump excavation is a separate operation and is scoped separately when a site needs a fully clean, buildable surface.
What size property do you take?
Projects range from individual homesites to several dozen acres. Density, terrain, and access all affect the scope, and larger multi-day acreage projects are scheduled accordingly.
